In general there is no scientific proof that Aloe Vera can help although Cancer Research UK says "Although there is no research evidence to show that Aloe vera can help with burns caused by radiotherapy treatment many patients say that it helps to heal and soothe the skin. Many specialist nurses and radiotherapists also recommend its use."
