Can Aloe Vera cure, help, treat or prevent Cancer?
The following information is for humans with Cancer
Introduction to Cancer
The complexity of cancer if far to great to be summarised on these pages. To find out more about cancer we recommend the Wikipedia pages on Cancer.
Curing
Note that there is no medical research for Aloe Vera curing cancer.
However there are numerous anecdotal stories from sufferers diagnosed with terminal cancer and given several weeks to live that then drink Aloe Vera and return to a full state of health.
None of these reports are verifiable with some doctors actually prepared to consider that their initial diagnosis must have been an error.
So popular is the idea that Aloe Vera may be able to treat Cancer that Cancer Research UK have devoted an internet page to it in which they generally state that there is no scientific proof but that it can do no harm.
Prevention
Those with a healthy lifestyle who eat a balanced diet and do not expose themselves excessively to the sun are less likely to get cancer.
Fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants which kill the free radicals that can cause cancer cells. Aloe Vera is also rich in these and as a secondary affect it cleans the digestive tract, thus helping the body absorb more vitamins and minerals from the diet in general.
