Can Aloe Vera cure, help, treat or prevent Lupus?
The following information is for humans with Lupus
Introduction to Lupus
Lupus (the Latin word for 'Wolf') is a chronic disease that causes the immune system to attack its own body destroying healthy cells.
Lupus is very difficult to detect and so GPs can often take a frustratingly long time to identify it
Despite the fact that hundreds of thousands of people around the world suffer from it there is little recognition and individual sufferers often feel very alone.
The causes of Lupus are unknown although experts suggest genetic problems, virus, hormone imbalance and/or stress.
Using Aloe Vera for Lupus
Important Note:
This text refers to Aloe Vera as defined on our page Good Quality Aloe Vera.
We also strongly recommend you read the FAQ: How Much Aloe Vera Should I Drink?
How long will it take for Aloe Vera to work with Lupus?
The speed of recovery will depend primarily on the quality of Aloe and supplements being taken. Do not expect miraculous results.
It will take time to clear the lupus and because Aloe Vera repairs the skin from the inside out, symptoms may look worse before they look better. As a very general rule of thumb allow one month for every year the Lupus has been there.
