"I would have to go on liquid diet myself at times. It was the only way to get to feeling a little better. I have suffered from bloating and extreme pain. I have had bleeding everyday, some days bad. "I am 31 years old and have been suffering with UC since 1996 and it is now 2008. I can not take any sulphur based medication as I am allergic and have been hospitalised due to this. This has restricted what I could take and what medications I was given did not help at all. The prednisone assisted every now and then - however I felt my body became immune to it and it became less and less effective. Not to mention how unwell I felt while I was taking it.

Basically this year has been my worst, I am completely and utterly fed up to the point where I think having my bowel removed would be a better option. I have become quite depressed, and have been taking it out on everyone around me.

"I am 69 years of age, a retired trial lawyer, a lifetime poker player, and I've had ulcerative colitis for nearly 40 years. Those who've had UC know how it can dominate a life, how one must plan when away from familiar environs to ensure a bathroom (or patch of woods) is close by. We know too well the uneasiness, even fear, that overtakes us when a restroom is unavailable at a time we need one.

For 37 or 38 years, I was treated with conventional prescription medications. First was Azulfidene or Sulfasalazine, which controlled the bleeding and mucus emissions most, but not all, of the time for about 25 years before I developed an intolerance for sulfur. Then came Asacol, which didn't work for me at all. Next was Colazal, which was fairly effective for 12 or 13 years, but stopped working about a year ago. What now?

I decided to find out what my next step would be by educating myself. So I Googled "colitis medications," believing I would discover the next logical prescription medication. It turned out there was a problem, because apparently there is no such medication beyond Colazal for severe UC. I had reached the end of the prescription line.

From the various websites, I discerned that my "conventional" treatment options fell into three categories. The first is periodic infusions by IV in a hospital or doctor's office of immunosuppressive drugs. But each of those regimens was accompanied by warnings of increased risk of lymphoma. The second is long-term use of steroids, such as Prednisone. No question Prednisone effectively combats inflammation associated with UC, but long-term use can have both short-term and long-lasting complications. The third is surgery. One type of surgery -- colonectomy -- apparently results in runny bowel movements. The other requires use of a colostomy bag for life. No thanks to both. Where to look now?

I noticed several websites were devoted to aloe preparations of one kind or another, and so investigated them. My trial lawyer persona surfaced. Trained to look for holes and weaknesses in any presentation making "a case," I viewed with suspicion claims exhorting the great healing properties of aloe. Finally, I reached the testimonials for Aloe Elite. Page after page after page. Talented copywriters can pen tales of success that can move a reader to tears or joy or both. Now my poker player side joined me as colitis-suffering trial lawyer. From my 54 years at the green felt, 30 years cross-examining witnesses and 38 years dealing with colitis, I am well prepared to know when someone relating a colitis treatment story is running a bluff or lying. By the time I read all the testimonials to Aloe Elite, I was convinced these stories have the ring of truth. Since retiring from the legal profession 13 years ago, I have become a free-lance literary editor, and believe no copywriter or group of copywriters could fabricate the diverse styles of those testimonials. I'm a good editor, and couldn't do it myself.

So I bit, and in June 2007 ordered a container of Aloe Elite. I started with the standard dose of 8 capsules a day. The results were spotty, but I pressed on and ordered three more containers. By late August, it still didn't work as touted. I couldn't understand why it worked for so many others, but not for me. Was I just too old?

Then, I had a revelation that Aloe Elite might have a better chance of helping me if given a "clean slate." That is, rather than having to overcome inflammation, bleeding and loose stool, the Aloe Elite could be effective in maintaining an asymptomatic condition. But how to achieve it?

I don't necessarily recommend the course I chose, but it worked for me. I scrounged up some old Prednisone tablets -- enough for a declining dose over six days, beginning with 40 mg and descending to 5 mg. All colitis symptoms disappeared nearly immediately. I restarted the Aloe Elite regimen at the beginning of September, and it worked perfectly for 10 days. But on September 11, I relapsed. I responded by upping the dosage to 18 capsules a day. By the beginning of October, my symptoms were again under control, but for the first time I experienced cramping. So I reduced the daily dose to 12, which I took for 30 days, then 8, 6 and 4 a day for 30 days each. As of early February 2008, I've been on the maintenance dose of 2 a day.

For some 5 months now I have been free of colitis symptoms, or stated more positively, my digestion has been just about perfect. I should add that over the last 9 or 10 months I have not ingested alcohol or caffeine, and limit my consumption of dairy products to occasional portions of cheese. I haven't eaten much in the way of fresh fruit and vegetasbles either, but am gradually reintroducing them into my diet."

"26 years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. It\'s been a real rollercoaster ride. I have been hospitalized twice with the doctors at one time telling me the only cure for me was to have my colon removed. Glad I didn\'t follow their advice! I have taken prednizone, lomotil, prednizone, sulpha drugs, and asacol. Sometimes it would go into remission for a couple years, but when it came back it would be worse than the time before. At one time I was taking 20 pills a day just to get it under control. Over the years, I became allergic to sulpha drugs and then started taking asacol. The doctor told me that I would never get off the medicine; I was to take it full strength for the rest of my life.

After three years of taking asacol I began developing the side-effects listed for this medication...mucus, cramping, and bloody diarrhea, etc. Seems weird that the side effects are the same thing as what I was trying to get control of. The more I kept taking the medicine the worse my symptoms became. I was losing weight, chilled all the time and had no energy.

Out of desperation, I decided to quit taking the asacol and I went to the internet looking for an answer. I did a search on \"ulcerative colitis\" and your ad for Aloe Elite was the first thing to pop up. I began reading some of the success stories and how Aloe Elite works. I got so excited, I immediately ordered a 3 month supply.

I have had great success after taking it for only 2 months. I would say I\'m probably at least 95% symptom free of the ulcerative colitis. I don\'t even think of it any more! "Hi, first off let me tell you a little bit about myself and the last eleven years dealing with Ulcerative Colitis. I was diagnosed in the spring of 1990 I had been feeling pretty sick up to that point and was misdiagnosed several times until I went in and had a colonoscopy and it confirmed I had full blown Ulcerative Colitis through out my whole colon. I was very depressed about this because I knew how debilitating this disease could be. I read everything I could. It looked like my only options were being on a variety of medications that where in them self bad for me with a bunch of side effects of there own or surgery was my other option and removal of my colon did not sound appealing.

I have been in the Hospital several times to treat severe flare-ups that I was not able to get under control with medications. My worst time was when I was eight months pregnant and was put into the hospital for about a month on TPN. TPN is where they put a tube into my chest and feed me and the unborn baby I was carrying. I have been back and forth on predisone and was so worried about what is was doing to my body so I started searching on the Internet for alternative treatments.

"I started taking AMP on Thanksgiving Day. I had not yet been diagnosed with anything formally, but knew that with my current symptoms, I definitely had GERD.

After the first week on AMP, all of my symptoms disappeared. I had no side effects from AMP and plan to continue taking it for maintenance purposes. In January, it became official that I have a hiatal hernia. My doctor asked if I was still having symptoms and was surprised when I said "no." He asked me what I had done differently, and I said that I was now taking AMP tablets. He wrote me a prescription for "as needed." I don't think I will be needed it."

"Two years ago I was visiting my daughter in Oklahoma, with a place hurting in my back about the size of an ice pick right in my spine. Or so I thought. This pain had been causing me problems for many years and I had paid a lot of money to chiropractors. My daughter insisted I go to her chiropractor, which I did. I placed my finger tip on this place that was driving my crazy, and he made x-rays. His diagnosis: Ulcers in my small intestines.

I prayed about a physician to see back at home, and feel that God sent me to the Doctor I went to see because of all the circumstances involved. He did not believe the chiropractor, but did an endoscopy, checking my stomach with a light, and I woke up with prescriptions to kill or heal ulcers.

A week later I had a sigmoidoscopy and the Doctor said I had diverticulitis. He did not elaborate so I didn't know that condition could be potentially dangerous to my well being.

"I was an athlete during most of my young life. With the exception of a hysterectomy at 30, I was the picture of health. Then I started gaining weight, developed Type II diabetes, and ended up getting my gallbladder removed.

About two years ago, when I was 41, I began working in a job that was extremely stressful. During the seven months I was employed there, I began to suffer from a spastic colon, abdominal pain (became constant, even while sleeping), and cramping. I went to the doctor, had the blood tests, the x-rays, the upper G.I., and sonograms. All tests came back negative. My doctor decided I could have I.B.S. and gave me medication aimed at "relaxing" the intestinal muscles. None of this helped. I was laid off from my job, so the stress simply changed. "I am an active 28-year-old healthy male, currently finishing my training as a nurse anesthetist. This is my seventh year of higher education mixed in with a couple of years of employment as an ICU nurse. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis/irritable bowel syndrome via colonoscopy.

Since my diagnosis, I have educated myself on the pathophysiology of the disease, as well as the pharmacological treatment. I was taking asacol by mouth three times a day, and my symptoms seemed to worsen and worsen over the past two years. Although I tried my best, the disease seemed to be taking over my life. I couldn’t go ANYWHERE without eyeing where the bathroom would be in case of an emergency…which came frequently. I had to drive to work 90 mph because I felt such urgency to need the bathroom. "Most of us lead our daily life doing all our routine things, going to work, family life etc. knowing that we have control of our bodies and health. (usually)

Last November I started to experience loss of control of my bodily functions- i.e. my bodies functions started to control me, as I could not travel, not knowing when the diarrhea would hit. Several months of on and off episodes- I finally decided to visit the doctor- The specialist in the area of intestinal tracks. He performed many tests, blood tests, stool tests etc. trying to find causes of my distress. He actually scheduled and performed a colonoscopy only to find that that part was OK. The doctor felt that maybe the antibiotics that I took in November had caused my problems.

Our family medical history, unknown to me, has had internal intestinal problems like Crohn's disease and diverticulous. The doctor, after all the tests and thousands of dollars later concluded that I suffer from I.B.S. and will have to deal with it for life.

Before my colonoscopy I did research on all the intestinal diseases, symptoms, causes and how to heal (nutritional healing research). The main common healing agent found in almost all problems was AMP.

I did further research and found a product on the internet and ordered it immediately and requested next day air. Thank God for that. After suffering for months with the frequent and unanticipated trips to the bathroom I found the answer. "I am 27 years of age and a year ago began to suffer severe abdominal pains and cramping which was worse on eating virtually anything. The only thing that I could eat seemed to be salad which had drastic effects on my weight. I stopped going to the gym and did nothing. After many months and various tests I was told that I had IBS and I was given a leaflet which was completely useless. The feeling was that it is something you just have to live with and the likelihood of surgery appeared a possibility as things failed to improve.

I bought books and began to research just about everything I could find on the net when I came across a site. To be fair, both my wife and I thought this was just a con site. "I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 22. I am now 28 and have lived symptom free for the majority of this time thanks to your fantastic product. I take what I believe to be a fairly enlightened approach to health and avoid prescriptive medication if at all possible.

When my condition was first diagnosed, I was treated in the normal way with steroid and anti-inflammatory drugs. These exacerbated the very symptoms I sought to control and created a whole host of unwanted side effects. They did not make me better, only progressively worse over time. The condition became so bad at one point, I was eating liquidised food only, became extremely thin and my quality of life was so poor that the future seemed very bleak. I was absolutely desperate to find something that would alleviate the daily symptoms and give me my life back. This was when I took matters into my own hands and began looking for my own cure. I stumbled on AloeElite and was really hopeful after reading the testimonials that this could be the answer to my health problems. It was. I have never looked back and I have certainly never accepted the drugs and their terrifying side effects.

However, I have a story more powerful than this to endorse this product for anyone who might be reading and suffering with the same condition.

So that the following account makes sense, I need to explain that the severity of Crohn's disease and indeed the presence of the condition itself, is determined by what they call an "inflammatory marker" (CPR) in the blood. In a normal person, this should range between 1 and 10. In Crohn's sufferers it isn't unheard of for it to be in the hundreds. I was recently taken into hospital suffering with food poisoning which had wreaked havoc on my digestive system. I had presented in A & E with a CPR of 27 which is a little high but even so, very good for someone with my condition. To put this into perspective, when it had first been diagnosed, it was in the 60's. I was told by medical staff initially that I had appendicitis. I did not. Terrfiyingly, I had had such a bad reaction to the drugs that had been administered to deal with the symptoms of the food poisoning that my CPR had risen to 300 over that first night I spent in hospital.

As a result, the specialists were called in and I was sent for a number of scans and x-rays all of which showed severe inflammation and ulceration of the intestines and pockets of fluid that had formed around my liver and under my intestines which of course I was told was as a result of a flare up of my Crohn's. Please note that at this point, I wasn't allowed food or water so I certainly wasn't taking my regular dose of AloeElite. I was more scared than I've ever been about the state of my health and was terrifed into thinking the only way out was to accept more of the drugs that they had convinced me would save my life.

Two days later, feeling more ill than when I was taken to hospital initially, I discharged myself from this hospital. That is how much I believed in this product to get me back on track. The daily worsening abdominal pain was enough for me to know that the drugs were doing more harm than good. As soon as I arrived at home, I started on a dose of 24 capsules a day to begin to get the inflammation under control. I went to see my GP the next day and I told him what I'd done. Knowing me, he was not surprised at all. He knows I have always managed my condition without medical intervention. I asked that he give me some time to fix my body my way and that we take regular blood tests to monitor my CPR.

You can't imagine how pleased I was when the results of the first blood test came back. This test was taken three days after I'd discharged myself from hospital, so three days of taking three lots of eight capsules a day. My CPR was 11, practically normal. My GP said this was too good to be true and said it would most likely settle somewhere up in the 60's again. We repeated it a week later. My CPR was 4. THIS is a perfectly normal result."

"Nearly two years ago, our son, Lance, telephoned us from college to say he had been vomiting on a fairly regular basis - he's always been the kind of person whose difficulty in dealing with stress has a profound effect on his health. I (his mom) asked him to watch for blood in his bowel movements, as stomach problems run in my family, including bleeding ulcers. Sure enough, within a few days, Lance noticed blood in his stools, as well as in his vomit. We immediately took him to a doctor, who confirmed he indeed had bleeding ulcers. The doctor gave him a medication which inhibits the production of stomach acids, all the while tossing around words like "surgery" and "endoscopy."

To make a long story short, the medications did not help Lance at all, other than (we thought) to stop the bleeding. For a year and a half, Lance tried various things, such as carefully monitoring his diet, trying different medications, etc. He wanted to exhaust every avenue before resorting to such invasive procedures as an endoscopy and surgery.

Nothing seemed to work, and Lance continued to vomit on and off, growing thinner and weaker as the months went by. Even though there was no longer any evidence of bleeding, he continued to suffer in other ways. His stomach pain was so intense, so constant, he could no longer remember what it felt like to be well. Eating became a chore, as he never knew whether the food would stay down or not. He survived by taking great amounts of antacids, which gave him enough relief that he was able to function.

Being the type who doesn't complain, he told us little of this. He simply endured, continuing to go to work and to attend college full time. Anyway, Lance is 6 feet, one inch tall, and, by the time he finally returned home after graduating from college, he weighed only 132 lbs.! I'm sure you can well imagine the shock my husband and I felt when we saw his emaciated condition. He literally looked as if he had been in a concentration camp.

In desperation, I began an earnest search on the Internet, hoping I could find some answers. I read everything I could find about ulcers, and in so doing, stumbled onto a website. We sent for the AMP, and the result was very gratifying. Within days of beginning to take the AMP, Lance's occasional vomiting and stomach pain stopped. Slowly, he began to recover.

Meanwhile, our doctor did some blood tests, and determined that Lance's blood count was so low, he would have died had he lost that much blood all at once! Lance was given a blood transfusion, which brought some color back into his face, and brought some of his energy back.

Yes, the blood transfusion was vital, but we believe the AMP is responsible for the return of Lance's health. The vomiting and intense stomach pain returned, and he immediately lost ten of the eighteen lbs. he had gained after taking the AMP. When the product arrived, his stomach felt relief within hours of taking it, and his health has been slowly improving every day.

Lance's health has not returned to normal overnight, but we feel deeply gratified to see him so much improved after only having taken the AMP for about three months. He is now at 150 lbs. and slowly going up. His appetite has returned, most, if not all, of his stomach pain is a thing of the past, and he is once again becoming the cheerful, good-natured guy we remember so well.

In my desire to tell my story as briefly and succinctly as possible, I imagine I have failed to convey just how devastating this has been for all of us. We truly believed Lance was dying, and the heartache we all felt is impossible to describe. How can one describe what it feels like to see a beautiful, healthy, intelligent, wonderful son slowly waste away in front of one's eyes? Even now, the fear has not totally gone from our hearts, but we nevertheless rejoice that our beloved son is once again so far along the path toward health"
